Abigail Pixler is an artist from Northern Illinois. While she attained a BFA in Graphic Design, Abigail discovered a love for painting about 7 years ago. Her specialty and passion is found within portrait and human figure work, with a focus on the feminine. The peace, pleasure and joy found in beauty as a whole is what drives her work.

Abigail’s specialties are acrylic and gouache paint along with soft pastels. She only uses the finest of paints and pastels to accomplish the work that she creates with care, so you’ll be sure to trust that each piece is of a superior quality, through and through.

The artist’s go-to subject matter of choice is the human form for a reason - her natural gifting in capturing the puzzle pieces that make up each unique person. All her life she has been entranced with studying faces and facial features, whether in person while conversing, through film, photos or even other artist’s work. There is something so fascinating when it comes to being human and she attempts to grasp and depict that with each piece.
